Job Overview:

The Outside Sales Engineer at Maxi-Blast  is responsible for growing sales by building strong relationships with both new and existing customers.  As an Outside Sales Engineer, this individual will be responsible for developing sales pipelines, creating proposals to encourage sales and repeat business.  In addition, an Outside Sales Engineer is required to travel to visit customers, attend trade shows, and other key industry events. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory
  • Domestic travel to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers
  • International travel to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers,  as requested
  • Continually meet or exceed sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers
  • Implement an effective communication strategy to drive sales
  • Maintain an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales
  • Research competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions (report to management/Ownership)
  • Provide weekly reports on key accounts, activities, and developments to Management and Ownership 
  • Keep abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events
  • Strategically negotiate with potential and existing customers to close sales

  • Ability to travel as required and requested by ownership team
